FonduTV headed out Friday night to have some fun.  First stop – Author Tim Frick’s launch party celebrating the release of his most current book, Return on Engagement: Content, Strategy and Design Techniques for Digital Marketing. This hands-on guide for digital marketing, Published by Focal Press, is a must have to keep current on the growing world of digital marketing.  And oh the beer-  the amazing Mighty Brew beer – always a hit.  Food wasn’t half bad either. Calling all Graphic Artist Students, Logo Gurus and Awesome Creative Types!  Do what you do best and win $50!

Introducing the FonduTV logo contest!  FonduTV.com is a new up and coming website dedicated to searching out producers, writers and actors doing new, innovative work and introducing that work to a loyal fan base of online viewers.

Some things we are looking for:

* FonduTV is a collaboration of two last names – Lila Frazier and Jill Tondu. No Cheese or Chocolate here (although we are fans of both)
* The idea is webisodes and original work!
* We like the colors Green, Purple and Blue.
* FonduTV is geared towards comedy and we want FonduTV .com incorporated in that regard.
* The winning Logo will become the property of FonduTV.com  The winner will be required to sign a release before being awarded the $50 prize.

Magical Cagigal

While in San Francisco last week FonduTV had the opportunity to see Now and At the Hour starring Magician Christian Cagigal at the EXIT Theatre.  A show stopping performance with a standing ovation, Christian Cagigal produced a moving piece of art right before our eyes. His artistic style and presence allowed the audience to take a second look into the power of the mind and how the past becomes intertwined with the present.  Be sure to check out his most excellent show below titled Obscura and watch for more to come this summer from an innovative storyteller that you will love to encounter onstage or online.

FonduTV was delighted to see Hey! Dancin! this weekend thanks to The Factory Theater. This show is a must see for 80′s fans and we particularly loved all the costumes and makeup. Follow the cast as they take you through the hottest 80′s songs that will make you nostalgic for the rockin’ hits of this beloved decade. They will make you laugh and bring you back to the years of teenage angst and allow you to find amusement in growing up in the 80′s.

Bye, Bye Liver

FonduTV had the pleasure of seeing Bye, Bye Liver at The Pub Theater on Lincoln . The cast is full of sharp actors and the company is really taking off. We were especially excited to speak with some of the members of the company and hope to work with them in the future.

Chicago Sketch Fest

FonduTV started the new year checking out comedy at Chicago’s 9th Annual Sketch Fest. Opening weekend caught The Cool Table, Size 8 and Not From Baltimore. FonduTV will be watching for more from these actors this year.
