This Week In Chicago Entertainment History

Chicago has an indirect slice of MGM History. Bet you didn’t know that MGM held a convention here in 1934 to showcase the films scheduled for release in 1934-1935. Studio Executive Felix E. Feist welcomed distributors and they each shared a few words with the camera. Felix E. Feist later directed Judy Garland in the short film Every Sunday in 1936.
